Abstract: William Monroe White graduated from Tulane University in 1899 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as the Chief Engineer and manager of Allis-Chalmers’ Hydraulic Department for more than 30 years.
Scope and Content: The collection consists of a copy of an address—“Power, Production, & Prosperity”—White delivered at the October 25, 1946, Wisconsin Dinner of the Newcomen Society of England at the Schroeder Hotel ballroom.
