The mission of the MCHS is to recognize and preserve our local history. In promoting a greater appreciation of Milwaukee County’s heritage, the Historical Society hopes to develop a better understanding of the issues and challenges facing Milwaukee County today.

Through our virtual programs, we hope to bring the MCHS to your home by diving into a variety of topics centered on Milwaukee history and culture. Take your lunch break with us for our Lunch and Learn, Virtual Program Series. We host three virtual programs in the Fall/Winter and Winter/Spring seasons to connect with our community during the cold Wisconsin winter.

All programs are streamed and recorded via Zoom. It is FREE to join our virtual programs and registration is required. If you cannot attend the live virtual program, be sure to still register. All registrants received the program recording link for 1-week after the program’s original air date.
