Abstract: In 1881, Rudolph Schwab and Charles Sercomb established the Novelty Manufacturing Company, located on Clinton Street (now South 1st Street).  The company produced iron castings for a variety of goods, including coat hooks, hitching posts and drawer pulls.

Scope and Content: The collection consists of an illustrated catalogue from the company.
