Lacquered egg that splits along the mid line vertically; one half of the egg depicts the Resurrection, the opposite depicts a cathedral. The egg has
a red border and the interior is painted gold.
Alexander Vishniakov and Sons Manufactory, composed of two halves one finely painted with the Anastasis against a red ground, the other half showing an Angle Guardian enriched with gilding, decorated along the opening with traditianal Old Slavonic foliage, the interior inscribed “From old Ritualists (or old believers) of Petrograd (St. Petersburg) Gromovsky commune.
