Historical Note:  The Borchert family once owned the Milwaukee Brewers, the city’s minor league baseball team, as well as Borchert Field, also known as Athletic Field.  After the death of Otto Borchert, his wife Idabel Ruby Borchert ran the team for a short time before selling it.  They had a single daughter, Florence Mila Borchert Bartling.  Florence married Lee A. Larson and had a son, Bill Borchert Larson. They later divorced and she remarried to a Henry A. Bartling.

Abstract: This collection contains personal material, photos, clippings and correspondence pertaining to this prominent Milwaukee family.
