Abstract: Irene Born and her sister Louise both attended North Division High School.  Louise graduated in 1916 and was a member of the choral society.  She taught in the Milwaukee Public School system for 25 years, retiring in 1941.  Irene was a member of the Science Club, Literary Society and Debate Team.  She graduated in 1921 and attended the State Normal School.

Scope and Content: The collection includes postcards and miscellaneous training camp items re service in World War I; a 1917 commencement program for Milwaukee State Normal School and a 1927 commencement program for University of Wisconsin-Madison; December 1954 issue of Keeping in Touch (Schuster’s publication); Thanksgiving Pageant Program, North Division High School; Irene Born’s report card from 1921 and some class assignments; and January 1916 North Division HS Tattler.  Oversize items include Louise Born’s diploma from 10th District School, 1912, and North Division High School, 1916, and Certificate of Merit from Milwaukee Public Schools, 1941.
