Louis Kempf was an employee of the Pabst Brewery. He was also involved with the German-American associations of Milwaukee. His daughter Lydia Kempf married Ralph Spillman.
The records consist of photographs, school books, financial and real estate records, and other items. Most of the collection deals with the Kempf/Spillman family but also included are advertisements from various businesses and items concerning the Pabst Brewery (including its efforts during World War II).
