Abstract: Jay M. Powers was employed by the H. Niedecken Company as a buying agent. He later moved on to become a purchasing agent for Geuder, Paeschke & Frey Co., and stayed in that position for more than twenty years. In September of 1960 he left GP&F to become a sales executive for Pioneer Container Corp. He dated and eventually married his next door neighbor Jeanette E. Ingraham in 1944. Over the course of their marriage they had three children.
Scope and Content: The collection consists of newsletters, business cards, and photographs from Mr. Power’s career. There is some biographical data on Mr. Powers and his wife.
