Abstract: Patricia (nee Hafford) Doubek was a Milwaukee resident. She attended Steuben Junior High School from 1943-1946 and then Washington High School. She was actively involved in choir and band, and worked on several high school and city pageants. She was also a member of the choral and drama group, the Washington Players in 1948.  In the collection are letters to Patricia from Private Richard Doubek, her future husband. He was a private in the army and was stationed in Missouri and Illinois in the early 1950s.

Scope and Content: The collection includes Steuben Junior High School class autographs and school newspaper, programs from high school and junior high school plays, choir concerts, and band concerts, as well as programs from Milwaukee Public School pageants and the Milwaukee Centurama Festival in 1948.  Correspondence between friends, party invitations, and certificates of completions for girl scouts and a Red Cross lifeguard class. There are also letters from Richard Doubek to Patricia while he was enrolled in the United States Army, 1952 to 1953.
