Abstract: Arthur Hansen was a 1926 graduate of the Medical School of the University of Wisconsin, and he practiced medicine in Milwaukee and Wauwatosa for many years. He also was an avid admirer of Abraham Lincoln and amassed an impressive of Lincoln ephemera, which he kept in his Wauwatosa home. In 1944, he was elected president of the Lincoln Fellowship of Wisconsin and published several articles on Lincoln and other Civil War topics.
Scope and Content: The collection contains ten of Hansen’s articles on Lincoln and other Civil War topics.
