Abstract: Leslie P. Lucas, Jr., was a Milwaukee native.  He attended North Division High School and obtained a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University’s College of Speech in 1936.  Immediately after graduation, he joined the faculty of Campion Jesuit High School, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.

Scope and Content: The collection consists of commencement and various other programs, newspaper clippings, holiday cards and a copy of Lucas’ senior thesis, “The Speech Problem in the Milwaukee Catholic Grade Schools.”
