Abstract: Jesse Raymond Meyer founded the Milwaukee Institute of Music (not to be confused with the Institute that was established in 1884 and evolved into the Wisconsin College of Music) in 1922. It was initially located at 267 Prospect (now 1749 N. Prospect). It relocated to 1584 N. Prospect in 1932 and evidently disbanded by 1933. The Modern Orchestral Studios Music School occupied the building at 1749 N. Prospect in 1932.
Scope and Content: The collection consists of a catalog that contains faculty biographies and photos, as well as course descriptions for music students.
