The Research Library includes more than one million photographs documenting Milwaukee and Milwaukee County history.

We are actively digitizing our photographic collection to be accessible to the public. You can browse the collection by name, subject, date, format, or type.

For more information about our photos, contact the Research Library at 414-273-7487 or library@milwaukeehistory.net. Research requests are $15.00 per request plus photocopying and mailing costs. Complex searches are $25.00 per request. Please allow 1-2 weeks for the completion of research requests
