Making of Milwaukee Original Curriculum (2006)
Original curriculum (2006) includes extensive lessons opportunities aligned with old state standards and resources. Current curriculum (2023) is comprised of user friendly, streamlined lesson plans aligned with current state standards and updated resources.
In the Classroom provides an opportunity for all interested citizens to learn more about Milwaukee’s history through an online curriculum, interactive lessons, stories, and an image library that aligns with Milwaukee PBS Television Series “The Making of Milwaukee” based on John Gurda’s book by the same name.

Downloadable and adventurous curricula on Milwaukee’s history that align with the TV series, The Making of Milwaukee. The Grades 1-4 curriculum and the Grades 5-12 curriculum include numerous learning activities that can be used as single lessons or as a complete series of lessons.
