Captain Pabst was an innovative thinker. Expansion of the brewery and the incorporation of the most modern technologies allowed Pabst beer to begin aggressively exporting their product around the world. By 1895 the company was producing one million barrels a year, had a state of the art facility, and was the first brewery to regularly invite patrons in to see the process by allowing brewery tours as an attraction.
